## Security and AI data handling

- Hosted on Google Cloud in US regions; all public traffic passes through Cloudflare.
- Multi-factor authentication is required for every user; permissions within a workspace are role-based.
- The database has no public IP and is reachable only over a private network; document links expire in 15 minutes.
- AI features use Gemini through Google Vertex AI under enterprise terms. Customer data is never used to train AI models, only document text excerpts are sent to the model, and AI features are optional.
- SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 are in progress (Raziel is not certified yet). Practices align with GDPR and CCPA. Cloud configuration is monitored continuously with Drata.
