Key differences

What actually sets them apart

  1. Whole net worth versus private markets depth

Kubera is built to total everything you own, from bank balances to cars. Raziel focuses on private positions: startups, SPVs, funds and the entities that hold them. Public equities, real estate and crypto are coming soon to Raziel.

  2. How startup positions are kept current

Kubera’s help center says private investments are added and tracked manually. In Raziel you record a new round once and every position in that company is re-marked, with MOIC and IRR recalculated.

  3. Founder tools

Raziel includes a fundraising pipeline, investor updates with open tracking and a cap table for the company you run. Kubera does not list founder tools; it is a personal balance sheet.

  4. Pricing model

Kubera charges a flat $250/year for Essentials after a trial. Raziel’s Investor plan is $49/month through 30 companies, and the Founder plan is free through 100 contacts.

To be fair

Where Kubera is strong

No tool is right for everyone. These are the areas where Kubera does more than Raziel today.

  • Much broader asset coverage today: banks, brokerages, crypto wallets, real estate, vehicles and precious metals, all connected or priced automatically.
  • Account aggregation through many providers worldwide, including a Web Sync option for institutions that do not connect directly.
  • Estate-oriented features such as a beneficiary switch that shares your portfolio if you stop responding.
  • A flat $250/year Essentials price, which costs less over a year than Raziel’s Investor plan at $49/month.

Switching

Moving from Kubera to Raziel

Most of the setup is importing what you already have. The Investor plan starts with a 14-day free trial.

  1. Export your private holdings from Kubera to a spreadsheet and import it into Raziel.
  2. Forward recent fund statements and capital call notices so Raziel records commitments and calls.
  3. Record the latest round for each company so Raziel re-marks positions and calculates MOIC and IRR.
  4. Invite your partner or accountant as an editor or a viewer.
