Key differences

What actually sets them apart

  1. Pulley is shutting down

Pulley will stop operating on December 8, 2026. Per its FAQ, data stays available in a limited format until January 31, 2027, and Pulley has partnered with Carta for assisted migrations. Raziel is live and accepting new founders and investors.

  2. Equity administration versus founder workflow

Pulley is an equity system of record: it issues SAFEs, options and RSAs, includes 409A valuations on Growth and handles filings such as Rule 701 and Form 3921. Raziel keeps a cap table view, but it does not issue securities or provide valuations, so it is not a like-for-like replacement for that work.

  3. Fundraising pipeline and investor updates

Raziel’s Founder plan includes a Kanban fundraising pipeline with target checks and investor updates with open and click tracking. Pulley does not list a fundraising CRM.

  4. Pricing

Pulley’s plans started at $1,200/year with no free plan listed. Raziel’s Founder plan is free through your first 100 contacts, then $29/month.

To be fair

Where Pulley is strong

No tool is right for everyone. These are the areas where Pulley does more than Raziel today.

  • Full equity administration: share certificates, SAFE, option and RSA agreements with e-signing, option exercises, board approvals, Rule 701 and Form 3921.
  • 409A valuations included on the Growth plan, plus fundraise and exit modeling.
  • Token cap tables, token distributions and token valuations for crypto companies.
  • An independent SOC 2 Type II audit, where Raziel’s SOC 2 Type II is in progress.
  • An assisted migration to Carta with first-year pricing honored for current customers.

Switching

Moving from Pulley to Raziel

Most of the setup is importing what you already have. The Investor plan starts with a 14-day free trial.

  1. Before December 8, 2026, choose a new equity administration provider. Pulley offers an assisted migration to Carta for customers who opt in.
  2. Start free on Raziel’s Founder plan to run your fundraising pipeline and investor updates alongside your new cap table provider.
  3. Import your investor contacts from a spreadsheet and rebuild your raise on Raziel’s Kanban board.
  4. If you also invest, start a 14-day Investor trial and add your startup, SPV and fund positions.

Raziel vs Pulley: questions

Is Pulley shutting down?

Yes. Pulley says it will shut down on December 8, 2026. Customers keep limited access to their data until January 31, 2027, and Pulley has partnered with Carta to migrate customers who opt in.

Can Raziel replace Pulley?

Partly. Raziel covers the founder workflow around your equity: a fundraising pipeline, investor updates and a cap table view. It does not issue SAFEs, options or share certificates, run 409A valuations or file compliance forms, so you still need an equity administration provider for that work.

What happens to my Pulley data?

According to Pulley’s FAQ, the app stops working on December 8, 2026, and data stays accessible in a limited format until January 31, 2027. Pulley says it can only assist migrations to Carta.

How does pricing compare?

Pulley’s published plans were $1,200/year (Startup) and $3,500/year (Growth), with Enterprise priced by sales. Raziel’s Founder plan is free through your first 100 contacts, then $29/month, and the Investor plan is $49/month through 30 companies after a 14-day trial.
