Key differences
What actually sets them apart
-
Listed markets versus private markets
Sharesight is built around listed securities, with daily prices, dividends and corporate actions. Raziel is built around private positions: SAFEs, priced rounds, SPVs and fund commitments. Public equities are coming soon to Raziel.
-
How private holdings are valued
In Sharesight a private company or property is a custom investment whose price you update by hand. In Raziel you record a round once and every position in that company is re-marked, with MOIC, IRR, TVPI and DPI recalculated.
-
Documents
Sharesight imports trade confirmation emails from brokers. Raziel’s AI document import reads SAFEs, convertible notes, capital call notices and fund statements and records amounts, terms and dates.
-
Founder tools
Raziel adds a fundraising pipeline, investor updates and a cap table for founders, free through your first 100 contacts. Sharesight does not list founder tools.
To be fair
